A PLACE to sleep : Really wide ranges, from £2 bangalows up to 5 star luxurious private resorts.
more about sleeping : Last time I stayed at ClubMed, Kata beach, it was such a holiday...big big wave and all day at sea.

A PLACE to drink : Many people like Patong beach for night entertainment and pub thing, but if you prefer the private one, I suggest wine with Kata beach...

A PLACE to see : See nearby islands, hav some water tour with a long boat not too bad, make a deal with fisherman personally, try not to make it like a business deal and it's gonna be a cool ended trip. Some fishermen do a sideline job as tour guide, but not professional ones, so all info we would get from them is all sort of weather things, monsoon, fishes, history of island(by word of mouth story), their tough economic, oil price, family and much more...sth real!

Do not forget to bring : yourself with more flexible mind, things could find easily in Asia these days, just I think being flexible maybe offers lots of unexpectedly nice experience.
