more about sleeping : just get up the courage and ask a local to stay with them, much better experince than staying in an overpriced hotel with Japanese and Germans

more about eating : I would stick with seal or whale jerky from the general stire

A PLACE to drink : one bar, open from 12-4 on Fridays only
more about drinks : membership required, but do not miss this!! drunk Inuits playing pool
A PLACE to see : Helicopter tour of glaciers
more about places to visit : Have a a Danish guy give you a breathtaking view of the glaciers, then land on one and have a snow ball fight on top of the world

more about shopping : good selection of seal products, I picked up some cool slippers

Best time of year to visit? : summer
Do not forget to bring : sweater it gets cold
Transportation : only one flight a day to Amasalik from Icelanf, weather permitting must be clear skies
Avoid : Drunk Inuits trying to breed
